From Ray Fraser
L: Ray and Pete (ex-boss). Rays reports that he lost his job at Compuware several months before Ray’s ex-boss Pete hired Kwame Kilpatrick (ex-mayor of Detroit). Rays says that we might not recognize him as he is now 60 pounds lighter due to riding a bicycle instead of burning gasoline and hasn't shaved since losing his job -- so he looks quite a bit different than this photo.
Webmaster's note: For those of us who no longer live in Michigan, I checked out Wikipedi on the saga of the former mayor. On September 4, 2008, Kilpatrick announced his resignation as mayor, which became effective on September 18, as part of a plea bargain where he also pled guilty to two felonies for obstruction of justice. At 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, Kwame left his jail after serving 99 days. He boarded a privately chartered Lear jet rumored to cost $30,000 and landed in Texas that evening. He was supposed to join his family in a $3,000 a month rental house in Southlake, Texas. Within a couple of weeks, Mr. Kilpatrick had been offered and accepted a job at Covisint, a subsidiary of Compuware, which happens to be headquartered in Detroit.
R: This was taken just before premiere of "Unbeatable Harold" staring Michigan native Gordon Michaels at the Birmingham Palladium on June 10, 2009. Ray is standing two blocks away from the Palladium in front of a Google branch office located in downtown Birmingham.
